Handmade river tables, carved pieces, keepsake boxes, kitchen cabinets and built-ins. Each one is sketched in pencil first, then made one at a time in our shop for homes from Tyler to Monroe.

How a piece gets made

Sketch, shape, join, finish

No catalog and no flat-pack. You tell us what you need, we draw it, and then we build it by hand.

We talk through the room, the size and how it will be used, then draw it out before any wood is cut.

Parts shaped by hand

Legs, rails and panels are cut and shaped in the shop.

Real joinery

Pieces are joined to last, made to be used every day and handed down.

A family woodshop in East Texas

Harlow's Custom Woodworks is a family business working out of a shop in East Texas. We build furniture and custom pieces one at a time, for people who want something made for their home rather than bought off a showroom floor.
